Namibia - 2006 - Report and pictures
Africa
Our first visit to this continent. Namibia is Africa for beginners. Well organized and relatively safe. It will be a challenging ride, with a true dessert crossing of approx 260 km!
Sossusvlei
The red sand dunes of Sossusvlei is one of the most beautiful places in the world. You have to get up early for the best view. Freezing in a open jeep, but you get something back for it. Breathtaking!
Etosha
For the first time in our live we visit a game park. We don't know what to expect, but when we meet a lion after only 15 minutes we know for sure this will be a remarkable day. The majority of the 2400 black rhino's still alive live in Etosha National Park. Will we see one?
